Dr. Maximilian Schubert LL.M.

Maximilian Schubert is an expert in telecommunications and digital policy. He is familiar with the regulatory framework and the relevant players in Bern, Vienna, Berlin and Brussels. Before joining BERTAKOMM, the lawyer headed the Austrian Internet Industry Association (ISPA) for over ten years and was president of EuroISPA, the world’s largest provider association, in Brussels. He then served as Public Policy Lead for Switzerland and Austria at Meta, where he was also responsible for telecommunications and infrastructure at the DACH and EU levels. Maximilian Schubert holds a doctorate in the liability of online platforms and a master’s degree in innovation, technology and law from the University of Edinburgh.
